A little history of Ascot
Queen Anne founded Ascot in 1711 after identifying the site near Windsor as suitable for racing. More than three centuries later, the course remains closely associated with the Crown.
What to look for in the form
Ascot has straight and round-course races plus a stiff finish. Separate sprint form from round-course form and account for ground that can change quickly.
