NEVER TOO MUCH (1) did not quite manage to win a race as a juvenile, but did manage to finish runner-up in the Welcome Stakes at Riccarton in April. He has gone the right way over his spell, and won a recent trial at Ashburton by 5 lengths. He should get the job done here fresh up. TRICORY (4) was solid on debut when finishing third at Riccarton just over 2 weeks ago, and with the natural improvement that is expected second up, she can figure in the top 3 again. GOLDEN UPGRADE (2) found that his last start had come too soon for him when dropping out to finish as the rear of the field. His Oamaru effort before that latest run was good, and he is worth another chance. CITALA (5) resumes from a spell that would have done her the world of good, and her tune up trial form has been improving. She has the pole, so keep her safe for all combos.
