Small field after a couple of early scratchings where WON FOR VICKI (1) should run them along. Won first try for new yard two back before finishing fourth at Betoota last time. Winning rider back aboard and gets chance to atone. LUNESSA (2) was disappointing two back at Roma then ran a better race there over 900m last time. Big chance here if repeats that run. MILK MAID (7) resumes from a break and has first run for the new yard. Has the ability to handle this line-up and expected to run well. OAKLAND RAIDER (5) ran a better race last time to place at Mount Isa. Faces a tough assignment but could sneak a place again. CRIPPS TONITE (3) next best.
