MAJOR LAZARUS (2) kicked off his career in good style two-and-a-half weeks ago, beaten 2.25 metres into second over 2000m at Oamaru. Likely to get all the favours from this nice draw. SHEZ ASSURED (3) is at the track for the first time. By Lazarus and hails from the Ross Houghton stable. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Showed some ability when a minor placegetter in a recent trial. Likely to attract plenty of interest from punters. AARDIE'S MEMPHIS (11) is a three-year-old gelding by Bettor's Delight from Memphis Melody on debut. Drawn to enjoy a cosy run but might need things to go his way at some stage. Finds a nice race so anticipating a bright start to his career. TOO SWEET FOR ME (10) is also in contention although the draw makes his job a bit tougher.
