Tony’s shortlist
Fat Tony’s AI picks
3. New Plan Stan
Stan’s flying at Northfield, pal—perfect draw and recent win-second combo makes him the one to whack on top.
4. Tommy Count
The market’s screaming Tommy, and he’s got the class; forgive the Scioto flop, he’s a serious threat.
6. Lethimgojoe
Joe’s better than that latest fourth reads; Lems aboard and a sharp trial say he can muscle into the quinella.
1. Criterion
Merriman from the pole is a nice little racket—freshened up, but his Northfield record keeps him in the frame.
5. Annadella
Mare has upside and won here two back; needs to bounce back, but she’s got enough zip for fifth.

Race context
Race preview
NEW PLAN STAN (3) was responsible for a very good effort last time over 1609m at this track, finishing second and just 1.5 metres from the winner. Has the benefit of a good draw. Good enough to win a race of this calibre. TOMMY COUNT (4) is worth another chance after a last-start seventh over 1609m at Scioto Downs two weeks ago. CRITERION (1) should not have any excuses from the favourable draw. Something for the Multiples: LETHIMGOJOE (6)
