Tony’s shortlist
Fat Tony’s AI picks
2. Feel The Reign
Tony says the draw, flying Herbo and honest latest third make this old campaigner the one to catch.
7. Maurlen Compass
Young filly has more upside than this mob; forgive the tougher race last time, capisce.
3. Assigned
Freshened up after a sound favourite fourth in stronger grade; sweet draw makes him dangerous.
8. Blazin By
Two-from-two at Kilmore and resumes off a tidy trial—don't let the second row scare ya.
9. Owen The Saints
Stuffed the score-up last go; prior close efforts say he can barge into the minors.

Race preview
ASSIGNED (3) has had four runs this campaign and is yet to finish in the top three but was solid when fourth as favourite in a higher-graded last time at Shepparton. Freshened since but should enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position and won the only time he raced here. FEEL THE REIGN (2) did a good job to come from this barrier for third last start at Maryborough. Looks capable of posing a serious challenge. CITY ROCKSTAR (4) has had a month off since she worked and faded last start but was runner-up from this barrier at Ballarat prior and is proven at this circuit and distance. OWEN THE SAINTS (9) bombed the start last time but had recorded a couple of close-up efforts prior so is worth another chance.
