Tony’s shortlist
Fat Tony’s AI picks
3. Simply Deep
Tony says the synthetic specialist maps sweetly and Darmanin is flying—top pick, pal.
5. Stardarmus
Drops to 57kg off a sharp course win; Newitt aboard makes this bloke dangerous.
4. Sh'Bourne Power
Three from five and unbeaten this prep—synthetic is the query, but plenty of ticker.
2. Kakia
Honest gelding gets a class drop and has placed both synthetic tries; money for exotics.
1. Stone Cold Stunner
Big weight, see, but a proven track-and-trip leader who can pinch a placing.

Race context
Race preview
Small field but great race. SH'BOURNE POWER (4) has won three of five so far and is a progressive type unbeaten this campaign. First try this circuit but drops in weight and is hard to fault on recent efforts. KAKIA (2) has had two tries here and placed at both. Near miss last time in a Class 5 at Hobart and will find this easier. Looks a leading chance. STARDARMUS (5) has been racing in great heart with wins at two of last three. Drops in weight and will prove tough to beat here as always. SIMPLY DEEP (3) is another in great form winning two back then just missing last time behind the talented Tuskegee. One of the main chances again. STONE COLD STUNNER (1) is fitter for two runs back and ready to fire.
