VICTRIX SWAN (10) is progressing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track after being prominent from the outset. Well placed in this line-up and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. VERY FAMOUS (9) continues to leave herself with too much ground to bridge but if the pace is genuine, she could cause a late scare. PAINTED WINGS (6) was much better here last time in testing conditions, skipping home nicely late into fourth. Nearing a peak now and can play a more significant role. SUPREME LASS (8) showed great tactical speed last time at Albury and was only run down late. Could give plenty of cheek again.
