Tony’s shortlist
Fat Tony’s AI picks
11. Tara Victory Nz
Big class drop from Melton and the market’s whispering loudly—she’s my top pick, pal.
5. Angels Watching
Honest Melton form and enough gate speed to land handy; serious chance, no funny business.
3. Hello Possums
Two sharp trial wins, Alford driving and a sweet draw—fresh legs can do the damage.
10. Im Wesley
Recent winning streak has merit; second line is the knock, but he’ll be charging late.
8. Wicked Mitzi
Two close seconds on the bounce and loves this trip—include the mare in your exotics.

Race context
Race preview
IM WESLEY (10) finished fifth last start over 2100m at Charlton, beaten 10 metres, after a good win at Echuca the run prior. Draws out a little on the second line and may need luck at some point but this assignment suits so he can give it a real shake. ANGELS WATCHING (5) has been producing some good efforts at Melton including a close second two back. Major player. TARA VICTORY NZ (11) has been tackling stronger races at Melton of late so is better placed in this more suitable assignment. HELLO POSSUMS (3) resumes but was readied with a trial win. Should get every chance from a favourable draw.
