HEATHCLIFF (2) well-bred Snitzel gelding heading in the right direction. Got off the mark two back, then covered ground for a plugging fourth over 1400m at Gunnedah. Comes here in peak condition and brings the right figures to take this out. STREET FORCE (4) returned for her second prep with a fast-finishing Maiden win over 1250m at Gunnedah in a Super Maiden. Gets an even better set-up here and cannot be underestimated. FAMAHAN (5) back marker who doesn't win very often and worth noting his lone win came on a rain-affected track. Savaged the line from back in the field with a narrow third over 1400m at Moree. Place best against some of these more reliable types. SCULPTOR (1) has needed the two runs this time in and races best on the heavy tracks. Claim helps again from the better draw and can improve enough to run into the minor money.
