Tony’s shortlist
Fat Tony’s AI picks
5. The Cristal
Fat Tony says she maps sweetly on speed, loves the sting out and looks the one to catch.
4. Joika
Rail draw, Bullock aboard and blinkers on—forget the last run, she’s got the right setup.
9. Royal Princess
Tough mare with 55kg who stays all day; wide gate is the only bit of poison.
8. Quirky Princess
Ran on well at 1900m and gets the light weight—nice little place-player, capisce?
3. Tsarevich
The distance is the query, but Sargent’s bloke can improve sharply third-up at odds.

Race preview
THE CRISTAL (5) improving mare with her hoof on the till as she stretches out to this trip for the first time. Stuck on well from the wide draw with a close-up third over 1880m at Newcastle. Will hold a forward position and prove hard to get past. ROYAL PRINCESS (9) drawn out again and is building towards a Maiden win at start twelve. Well ridden by the apprentice when she cruised across to dictate the speed and finish second over 1900m at Newcastle. Similar set-up here and can figure prominently. JOIKA (4) Maurice mare mixing her form this time in. Went back from the gate and failed to sprint with them in the straight when tenth over 1880m at Newcastle. Comes up with the rails draw and no shock to see her return to form. QUIRKY PRINCESS (8) improving mare adept in all conditions. Third up for this after running on late to secure third over 1900m at Newcastle. Placed over the 2105m last time in and Reith sticks.
