Tony’s shortlist
Fat Tony’s AI picks
10. Darkbonee
Fat Tony says the progressive lightweight is primed—Soft form, perfect draw and a lethal finish.
2. Saint George
Class stayer with the Zahra polish; won well at 2000m last start and looks the chief danger.
8. Litzdeel
Shinn from the rails, fitter second-up and bred to relish 2000m—nice each-way mob.
12. Jennivamoose
Fresh run had merit and the mare handles soft ground; wide gate is the tax, capisce.
14. Shockletz
Lightweight roughie with strong Soft credentials; the extra trip is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Race preview
Looks another lovely race for the progressive DARKBONEE (10) who flew home fresh with a big weight then won well here last time over 1600m, coming from off the speed to score by 1.75 lengths. He looks to be one trying to sneak into a Caulfield Cup so they'll need to win this and he gets the right run to do so. SAINT GEORGE (2) did beat DARKBONEE when they met last preparation on a similar weight scale. SAINT GEORGE won impressively at Flemington last start but is off a let up here. Not discounting. SHOCKLETZ (14) ran on well off a short break at Flemington over 1620m. Much better suited this trip but the draw isn't ideal. SEE THAT STORM (9) found form with a good win over STAR OF INDIA (4) at Flemington. SEE THAT STORM would want it as dry as possible, STAR OF INDIA probably does as well and both draw awkwardly.
