Race context
Race preview
CHEF'S KISS (1) is a former NSW galloper who was heavily bet first try in Tassie on the turf at Hobart. Got well back but wound up late over the sharper trip. Better for it and the extra ground a huge plus this time. Worth another chance. GEE GEES BROTHER (3) led and was run over late when placed here fresh. Will strip fitter and give a sight this longer journey. UNFILTERED (7) hasn't been far away last couple, the latest finishing sixth but only a couple of lengths from the winner. Has more upside than most and looks one of the chances. JOCK ROCK (8) is a gelding by Squamosa out of Bestie's Daughter on debut. Ran fourth in a trial at Devonport Synthetic over 1009m. Betting to hold the key. GUBER (4) has had a lot of tries but hard to beat on his best form.
