MAGRITTE (12) returns after a 16-week spell. Kicked off last prep with an eye-catching second over 1110m at Doomben in Saturday company. Recorded a big win in a recent Warwick trial. Bar set much lower to kick off this campaign and she looks a terrific chance to finally open the account. The Munce-trained I'M NOT HERE (10) could be the threat on debut. Seen on the training track last summer then put away and has returned with two impressive recent trial wins at Doomben. All set to make an immediate impact. ELNAJEEB (1) returned in good order at Ipswich last start. The wide alley is the main concern. FAWUNDERPAR (2) has been competitive at all three runs to date. Getting out to 1200m for the first time looks the right move. KIAVELA (13) raced handy all the way when resuming over this trip at Ipswich last time. Might be the big improver with blinkers applied for the first time.
