MISSION TAICHI (8) burnt the punters last time at Wangaratta when nosed out as the $1.45 favourite but he's yet to put in a bad run with three minor placings from as many starts and this race lacks any sort of depth. Any further improvement should see him atoning. PATRIOT WOLF (9) has had a few chances but put in a career best at Ballarat up to 2100m last time out having been racing over shorter trips. Chance on that run but back to heavy ground a niggle. I'MNODRUMMERBOY (6) will be rock hard fit back in trip and is an each way chance from HEMI TWO BARRELL (5) who can improve off an even debut for the Shane Jackson yard.
