Race preview

ROONAMI (7) came off a freshen last start and was too strong from the front, winning over 1400m. Now out to the mile which is a trip she's been asking for for a while now. Can sit handy again and with improvement expected, she can bring up back-to-back wins. MIDNIGHT AFFAIR (9) was too good in heavy conditions at Wagga last start, winning by 0.4L. Keatings remains on board and the wide draw doesn't hurt with her pattern. Likely to be spotting them a start again but she rates highly on her last start effort. SIR TUA (1) never really got going at Kembla last start and should be better suited coming back to this level. The mile is where he's done his best work previously and straight out to that distance suits. Can improve quickly. LUCKY STAR (5) can improve coming back in distance today.
