Race preview
SHOT OF MAGIC (1) has mixed form recently, finishing fourth (17.75) in a NG at Richmond Straight latest but did run well two back when in the frame. Has good speed and aided by the cherry draw. This looks easier and expected to bounce back. BEAR'S HEAD (2) recorded one of the quickest times on the card this course and distance last time, finishing second in a Grade 5 in 22.41 and a new PB here. Has the ability and looks a key chance. GO FORWARD JACKI (4) has shown good improvement at her last two starts, rewarded with a win last time at this track over 400m. Solid beginner who can clear the tricky draw. One of the prime contenders. CYCLONE ETHICS (3) comes off a (29.64) win last time, scoring by 3.5 lengths in a Grade 5 over 515m at Gosford. Has already won out of this draw.
