Race preview
KING COREY (1) has been racing at Menangle of late where he was runner-up two back and a winner over a mile back in February. Led from wider draws in both of those outings so has the gate speed to take advantage of the ace draw. LOOKIN GOOD MARGIE (2) should find this a little easier than the last attempt when beaten 7m in a higher-graded race. Recorded a win from this barrier along with a nose second from the back row in her previous two attempts at this circuit and distance. Primary contender. HOT CRUISE CONTROL (7) must be considered after placing in his last two outings, one of them from this barrier. STELLINA (3) has had tricky barriers since winning here three back. Can do better from a more favourable draw.
