BETTORPATCHMEUP (3) is in good form at present. Finished fourth at his latest appearance over 2180m at Stawell, beaten 5 metres. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. Meets a comparable field and he is a strong winning hope. THEROUX (2) turned in a strong performance last time when he battled on bravely to just miss out over 2180m at Kilmore. No excuses from this advantageous draw. Leading hope based on that recent effort. VILLAGE VOICE (8) has been thereabouts of late and is a great chance to break through. Good effort last time out when she finished third at Stawell over 1785m. NORMANDY NUGGET (4) could only finish sixth over 1785m at Stawell most recently. Open to improvement and is in the mix.
