Race preview
THATS KEVIN (10) finished second last start over 2180m at Stawell, beaten 3.5 metres, after also filling a minor placing at the previous appearance over 2180m at Terang. Draws out a little on the second line and may need luck at some point. Primary contender if things go his way. CARAPAZ (3) resumes from a spell of six months after closing off last campaign in good form, the last run being a solid third over 1680m at Terang. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Expecting a bright start to the campaign. NONNAS DREAM (5) is a two-year-old filly from the M H Phillips stable on debut. Trial winner who looks above average. Any push in betting will add to the confidence. BUBBLE OVER (2) cannot be left out after solid recent performances, the latest a sound third at Stawell over 2180m.
