RENA (1) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 2.25 metres from the winner in second over 2000m at Addington. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. On top for us. TAUMUTU LAD (7) won at Phar Lap Racecourse two runs ago before finishing sixth at his latest appearance over 2000m at Motukarara Raceway, beaten 5 metres. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position. Meets a similar lineup and he is capable of a much better performance. CLASSIE LINC (2) is better than her last-start ninth over 2600m at Addington. CARRERA BANDIDO (10) had no luck last time out, and he is also in contention, although the draw makes his job a bit tougher.
