Race preview
SILVERY BREEZE (1) finished off nicely to be 2L off the winner last time out when not having much luck in the straight as the race favourite. Bowman hops on board now and he'll need a touch of luck from the inside draw. Nice trial since and he can make his presence felt. VIOLET STAR (9) stuck on well to be 1.8L off the winner over this course and distance 21 days ago. The wide draw doesn't matter with his racing pattern and if he runs up to what he did last time out, he'll take stopping. STORMI (8) couldn't extend his winning run last time out when beaten 2L after sitting up on the speed. He may be better finding the lead outright and suspect Chau will try that this time. Best form is good enough and this presents as a good opportunity to recapture that. VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (5) is better than he's shown his past couple and is not to be discounted. Purton hops on and an improved run is on the cards.
