Race preview
AMAZING AWARD (5) is inching towards another win, finishing 1.5L away most recently at this track and trip. Bowman takes the ride now, but he'll need a touch of luck from the outside draw. He does possess some good early speed however and if he can get across from the draw, he'll be hard to hold out. MIGHTY STEED (2) jumped favourite over this track and trip last time out and couldn't hold on, finishing 4.3L away off a short freshen most recently. Purton remains in the saddle today and he's better than he's shown his past couple. Can be in the finish yet again. WINNING DATA (10) flew home to miss narrowly at this track and trip last time out as a $10 chance and this looks as though it'll set up similarly from the awkward alley. Turned in a strong rating in defeat last start and can be flying home once again. EXCELLENT BOY (11) just missed last time out and can go one better today.
