Race preview
BEAUTY SHOW (3) is on debut today and trialled very impressively over this course and distance last month. Purton remains in the saddle from that trial and he looks to have plenty of ability. There's nothing too scary to be afraid of here and he can make a winning start to his career. BEAUTY THUNDER (2) was gunned down last start when leading over this track and trip as the race favourite. He has plenty of speed to get across from the outside draw and he'll be hard to hold out if he can hold his form. ELEGANT LIFE (8) missed by 2L over further at Sha Tin last time out after an impressive win here two starts ago. Back to the scene of the crime today and Moreira hops on board. Likely to get back in the run but watch for him flying late. SUPERB KING (1) missed as the race favourite last time out when having to contend with a wide draw over 1200m. Back to 1000m here and drawn better. Can land the knockout blow.
