BEER BATTERED (4) was resuming when finishing sixth at this track in a Grade 6 (17.35). Will be much improved. Should be very hard to beat this time. HI CHARLIE (3) has been mixing form lately, hitting the frame two back before finishing fourth (20.47) at Q Lakeside in a Grade 6. This looks easier and expected to improve sharply. AUSTRIAN ROSE (8) had been in super honest form hitting the frame seven times on end before finishing sixth (19.70) at this track last time. One of the better hopes. SMASH THE JOKER (2) cannot be ruled out.
