Race preview
SAN LUCIDO (1) switched from a South Australian yard and was well supported resuming over 1200m and proved too strong, scoring by one length. Open to plenty of improvement, and after a brief freshen-up, he can get the prize again. ANKLE ROLEX (3) improved last start running into a place over this trip. It was a tough effort from the back, and he may get a softer run today from the inside gate. He may get closer today. MARVELOUS NIGHT (4) made sharp improvement 47 days ago beaten 1.5L over 1200m behind July. He'd be a hope, holding that form. BOLLON (2) resumed over this trip for the top yard and failed to come into the race. He will race over further, but Todd is reunited, and a better effort is likely on the fresh side.
