Race preview
LEAP TO FAME (1) returns home after showing all of his trademark qualities to fight of the rivals after a tough run and win a second Miracle Mile at Menangle last start. The inside draw isn't always his friend but his record at this circuit and distance stands at 17 from 19 and he is classes above these. FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (7) is racing well with a standing start win along with three placings from behind the mobile in his last four starts. Draws wide but could be the best of the challengers. TIMS A TROOPER (3) has missed the placings at his last couple but has come from wide barriers. Was racing well prior so can be more competitive from the better draw. JIMARTEE (2) is also a trifecta hope from the good barrier.
