Race preview
DYNAMITEDAN (4) resumes from a spell of six months after winning at Menangle in his only appearance of last campaign. Lightly raced but progressive colt who hails from a leading yard and should be ready to go after winning a trial at Melton. YOTTIE (3) was terrific when coming from a wider barrier for third in the NSW Derby last start and raced three wide without cover for a resuming placing in his heat prior. Ended his maiden campaign with three successive wins at this circuit and distance and is a gelding on the up. Should get the favours from this draw and has the fitness edge on the top pick. SOHO TRUMP (5) finished at the tail of the field in the Derby last start but had recorded a win and two placings in his other three city starts this time in so can bounce back. BENJAMIN (9) tackles some smart ones but he is progressive with three wins and a close second in four starts so far and is unbeaten at this distance.
