BETTYS GOLD CLASS (5) continues to perform well at this venue and turned in another strong effort last time when she battled on bravely for a 2.8m third. That added to a long string of top-four finishes. Good enough to take out a race like this. JEFFCOATE (8) is close to a win after placing in his last three outings at Albion Park, the latest from this barrier when he raced three wide in the latter stages. With even luck he could break through here. PRETTY LITTLE LIAR (6) had a tough draw so didn't do a bad job when she worked but boxed on for fourth last week. PRINCE JOY (9) is in the mix following a fourth from a similar barrier at his most recent appearance here.
