A little history of Ellerslie
The course has long been the metropolitan home of Auckland racing. Its modern StrathAyr surface was introduced as part of a major redevelopment designed to provide consistent, high-quality racing.
What to look for in the form
Its sweeping layout and long metropolitan tradition make course experience, position and the expected surface conditions important parts of the form puzzle.
